What should i major in when i go to college?

I am very creative. I want a job that helps me express my creativity every day. I am a good artist, but I want a well paid job. I also like to design. I would love to be an architect but i do not want to have to worry about the ground whether it is stable and i don’t want to be held responsible. I also have thought about landscaping and interior design.But are they more of your creativity or what the actual customer wants for their home? I am into graphic design though i really would like a job that doesn’t require to sit in front of a computer every day.I also am into hair dressing. I want to go to a beauty school and get a license but i plan on going to college afterwords. Would it be worth it? I think itd be nice to have something to lean back on if all else fails.

You definitely sound creative but I would suggest you go to college first and then look into a beauty school. You might even go to a beauty school during summer school while you’re in college.

Based on what you’ve wrtten; you should definitely major in a creative area. In college, there are many options for your abilities or aptitude in the creative field. You should do some research before you apply and find out what college best fits your needs.

In college, you could combine your artist, design, architectural, interior design and landscaping abilities. You could get a degree in design and architecture. The type of architect that you mentioned is more of an engineer and there are many architectural degrees that are more concerned with design and creativity. This sounds the best for you. With a design major in architecture you could use your creativity to design new and unique things such as buildings. You could also use your interior design and landscaping abilities in this area. You could design the inside of the building with interior design and then use your landscaping design to create the outside such as the gorunds. There are even some majors that design websites but If you don’t like computers that much then that not be for you.

If I were you; I would do research on architecture and design and get more details. I’m sure you can find more details on the internet. Finally, you may want to major in Art or FIne Arts. However, this artist ability of yours seems better used in architecture and design.

I think you do just fine since all of your abilities are in related areas. You might want to make an appointment with your academic and career counselors at your school.
